In Celebration of Women’s History Month, we bring you a musical concert with Kirsten Thien and Erik Boyd. Women ROCK! 15 Iconic Women Who Shaped Music is a fun and informative live music program highlighting 15 prolific women who left their indelible mark on the music world, forging new paths for future stars and securing their place in music history. From their creative and artistic contributions to their struggle and sacrifice for equal pay and recognition, Kirsten covers the early innovators and pioneers, as well as contemporary superstars from the past 4 decades, sharing some of her personal journey as a professional touring and recording musician. Part concert, part history, with a dose of behind-the-scenes stories and little-known facts, Kirsten is accompanied by Erik Boyd on bass and guitar for this entertaining concert suitable for adults, as well as students in grades 6-12.
